Learn about CNC Machining

I machine some of the clock enclosures myself on a mill, but the solid aluminum enclosures require some larger equipment.  Luckily, I found some very capable machinists at A&T Machining who get the job done with much attention to detail.  And, they also let me come down and inspect the box at every step of the process.  I took this video of the new solid aluminum being machined:

Here is a little video of a nixie clock enclosure being machined in my shop.  This is a very small bench mill, with CNC (computer) control, which I use for milling the enclosures.

This section will be developed over time to share some of the things I've learned about in-home/hobby level machining for the non-machinist.

For now, I'll give a few links to some of the popular internet forums about CNC and machining which may be of interest.
